This 18,000-sf project began initial designs for the 2.5 acre bare ground site in November of 2009. Key elements incorporated into the facility included a northwestern regional design elements, large open and inviting work areas, great natural and electric lighting, and sound dampening acoustics. Raised computer flooring was utilized to allow for raised computer flooring. This would allow for future flexibility and adaptability for the facility to change program layout, as well as a location for phone, data, and power outlets. The facility also called for conference rooms that could be multifunctional and used by community members afterhours. Unique site improvements called for the availability of overflow parking during the occurrence of special events. With construction underway, the owner decided to incorporate a large data room. This included a computer racking system with four in rack cooling units supported by four 8-ton condensers. It also held a UPS system supported by a 230 kw generator and an FM200 fire suppression system. Even with the addition construction was completed on time.
The Eagle Town Plaza project consisted of the complete remodel of an existing 33,000 sqft retail center in the heart of downtown Eagle. The project revitalized the shopping center, which has drawn strong attention to the west end of Eagle. Work included interior demolition of split level floor system, open shell concept for tenant planning, new parking lot configuration with new landscaping, site lighting, and monument signage. New construction included extending the roof line with gable trusses, facing the exterior walls with a combination of materials to include stucco, Hardi-Plank siding, and masonry. Interior improvements were completed as per individual tenant requests.
Located on State Street in old downtown Eagle, Cobblestone is a beautiful two story medical/professional building. This 32,000-sf design-build project welcomes in pedestrians with wide sidewalks, attractive landscaping, and benches. Eight patios located throughout the building allow occupants to also enjoy this while taking in views of the Owyhee Mountains and Bogus Basin. With parking placed behind the building, a porte-cochere provides a convenient covered drop-off area for patients as well as a unique entrance from the parking lot. Once inside the building, visitors are met with a spacious lobby. Beautifully lit with diffused skylights, the entire building features rich materials and finishes. This is met on the exterior with Ariscroft block, EIFS and brick work creating a structure that is both handsome and functional.
Following the U.S. Green Building Council Standards, Idaho Pulmonary Associates is one of Idaho’s first privately owned LEED certified buildings. This handsome structure features an open and welcoming entrance with landscaping and walkways intertwining. Large overhangs provide cover and act as shading devices for the oversized windows that flood much of the building with natural light. Vaulted clerestory windows continue to bring light into the center most core of the building while materials and finishes rich with color and texture add character. An elevator takes occupants to a lower level dedicated to Meridian Sleep Disorders Center. Here sleep study suites are designed to make patients feel comfortable and at home.
Designed to use the latest in medical technology, the Boise Kidney Nephrology Clinic & Liberty Dialysis Center combines diagnostics with dialysis treatment and patient care into one facility. The building includes several unique features including 13 dialysis stations, an isolation room, and a water treatment room. With maximum efficiency and function in mind, the facility includes a shared common entrance and lobby space, a break room, a training room, and a private staff-entrance. The site was designed to accommodate a 3,500-sf future tenant expansion.
Kramer Plastic Surgery is both efficient and attractive. The exterior of this handsome facility includes tile roofing, slate tile trim, arched windows, and stucco with cornices and a metal parapet cap. Designed for a plastic surgery practice, the building includes rooms for consultation and examination, laser hair removal treatments, minor procedures and esthetician. The interior is finished with luxurious materials including rich solid oak doors, granite countertops, tile, precast columns, vaulted ceilings, arches, and unique 3Form accent panels.
This ambulatory surgery center incorporates multiple different medical suites. The handsome timber frame porte-cochere makes a stunning entrance and convenient patient drop off area. Once inside, the large shared reception space has a vaulted ceiling with skylights that flood the room with diffused daylight. Each medical suite is individually designed to meet health care regulations. The neutral color palette and rich materials combine to create a sophisticated and timeless design that will be used for many years to come.
With an outdoor fishing theme, Treasure Valley Pediatrics wants to make coming to the doctor’s office a positive experience. Upon entering, visitors are met with a fun reception area. A life size row boat and fishing shack playhouse inspire the imaginations of visitors of all ages. The theme is further carried out as patients are lead to exam rooms by a “river” flowing to each of the rooms. Changes in carpet patterns continue into each of the brightly colored exam rooms. Careful attention to detail and materials makes this office a unique and fun experience for all who visit.
Idaho Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art facility located in the Mountain View Plaza. Designed to include IGA’s multiple disciplines under one roof, this building incorporates several unique features for a medical facility. Some of these include oversized windows to allow for natural daylight, separation of spaces according to function, and a seamless epoxy floor that aids in maintaining a sanitary environment in the surgery suites. By working closely with the owners, this was a turn-key project that included everything from sale of the land to complete development of the five acre site.
Nominated in 2009 as one of Idaho’s Top Projects, Meridian Pediatrics is a truly well designed office. Full-height storefront along the eastern elevation allows the space to be flooded with daylight and gives a direct connection between the interior and exterior of the building. Once inside the facility, visitors are met with an airplane suspended from a beautiful wood T&G ceiling. A model train adds interest as it circulates the waiting area stirring the imagination of all who see it. Rich materials bring sophistication and texture to the facility while a well thought-out floor plan allows for maximum efficiency throughout the space. The facility is designed with two pods containing 12 exam rooms, easily accessible and visible from the nurses’ station.
This project is a 3,000 sqft custom home in downtown Ketchum, that will meet the National Green Building Standard with a Silver Certification. Heavy concrete and structural steel construction made this project an excellent fit for our company. Being built on an aggressive hillside, the project has demanded an immense amount of coordination and scheduling for the multiple floor elevations. The exterior walls consist of class A concrete walls, cold-rolled steel panels with a patina finish, and floor to ceiling glass. Sustainable items include: Solar Electricity, High efficiency HVAC equipment, Energy Star® Rated appliances and equipment, Low/No VOC’s, high efficiency wall/roof/flooring insulation systems.
Upon entering Middleton from the east, you will find the beautiful Greenlinks. This Design-Build project included the shell and core of the building as well as all site and landscape improvements. With a stone veneer façade and canvas canapé, this handsome building features a timeless design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
